The Pretty Pretty
Formed by Brian Riemer (lead vocals, synth, guitar) & Kyle White (drummer), The Pretty Pretty is an 80s synthpop group writing hit songs out of Los Angeles, CA. Brian and Kyle met while bartending for a catering company, and they realized they both went to Columbia College of Chicago for the same degree (Music Composition) just 8 years apart from each other. This discovery would birth a brand new project, one with style, class, and groove. They’ve been playing shows for almost a year now as a two-man band and now have added bassist Omar Mohsen. They are currently seeking a strong synth player for their live shows. Their debut single “Shaky Alibi” is now streaming! Their first EP: The Pretty Pretty EP will be dropping later this year.
Hot Apartment
Formed by Brian Riemer (music) and Michael Grey (lead singer and lyrics), Hot Apartment is a synth-funk band with some serious heat! Brian and Michael met while studying Musical Theater at the Hartt School of Music. While they only overlapped a single year, it blossomed into a friendship and music partnership that would endure until they met back up in Los Angeles, CA. Hot Apartment is fresh, fun, and seriously funky! They began by making a cover of “She’s So High” by Tal Bachmann to play over the end credits of Michael’s short film, Weed The People: A Stoner Fantasia On National Themes. Hot Apartment has new original music on the way, including a EP!
